Morgan Fogarty joined the FOX Charlotte team in February 2005 as the News Anchor for FOX News Rising. After a year of waking up way too early, she made the move to FOX News @ Ten, serving as weekend co-anchor and weekday reporter. Finally, she ended up right where she wants to be: sitting next to Brotha' Fred weeknights at 10:35 for FOX News Edge.
Before moving to Charlotte, Morgan was a "one man band" reporter at WHAG in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was then promoted to anchor and producer of the noon and 5 PM newscasts. She graduated from Penn State (University Park) with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
Even though she was born a Yankee, Morgan now considers Charlotte "home," and can't imagine leaving. She even managed to drag her husband away from the long, cold Philadelphia winters. While he definitely appreciates the warmer weather, she's still working on converting him from an Eagles fan into a Panthers fan.
Morgan is an outspoken animal advocate, giving her time to various rescue groups in the Charlotte area and always working to bring awareness to animal issues. She's "mom" to two furkids: Winston (a French bulldog) and Maddox (a Doberman Pinscher).
If you have a story idea, comment or suggestion, please email Morgan at mfogarty@foxcharlotte.com . If you have any tips on how to cope with Brotha' Fred, she'd appreciate those, too.
