Vick’s Back, Fans React

Around Charlotte, sports bars were buzzing over the signing.

“He's done his time, he's paid his dues, and he should have the right to come back and play in the NFL,” says J.B. Meacham.

But, some say not so fast.

“I hear people say he knows better now, and he's served his time, I think everybody should know better than to take a defenseless animal and murder them and maim them,” says Julieane Dostal.

A recent poll of fans showed that 46 percent of people said they’d be outraged if Michael Vick had signed with their team, but people at Frasier’s Dog Park say they have mixed feelings on it.

Pet owner Matt Nixdorf says he's a Vick fan.

“I won't boycott it at all, actually I look forward to seeing him play again,” Nixdorf says.

If you don’t like Vick, he says, don’t watch the games.

“I don't think you can say you're against Michael Vick coming back but then again watch the games and actually be interested in following the NFL again,” he adds.

Others say they're just glad he didn't end up on their team.

“I'm a Panthers fan and I think Charlotte wouldn't appreciate it,” says another pet owners.

Mixed feelings around Charlotte, we’ll just have to wait and see how much brotherly love he gets in Philly.
