Awendaw Green And Patriots Point Present Homegrown Music Showcase

Awendaw Green always puts on great Barn Jams, shows and festivals. The great thing about the upcoming Homegrown Music Showcase this Sunday is that you dont have to drive far as its in Mount Pleasant at Patriots Point. Attendees will see a very diverse group of artists at a singer in the round set up where three artists rotate every 45 minutes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Joining in the Patriots Point Veterans Day week celebration, this event is presented by Awendaw Green and Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum.
As there are 14 wooded acres at Patriots Point, the event will take place in a spot right next to the harbor by the U.S.S. Yorktown so it is similar to being in the woods in Awendaw. Green basically wanted to make the day like their Barn Jams where it is very connective, fun and good for all. In addition to the talented musicians, there will be food trucks, local arts and crafts and lots of other activities throughout the day. Green continues by...
