Morning Accident Leaves Driver DeadCHARLOTTE, NC - Medic paramedics along with North Meck Fire and Rescue responded to a one car accident at the intersection of McCord Road and Ramah Church Road this morning around 7am. The vehicle drove off the right side of the road and struck a tree head on. Robert Durette was the only occupant of the vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The CMPD Major Crash Investigation Unit (MCIU) responded to the scene and is currently investigating the crash and what led to the vehicle leaving the roadway.
