Road 2 London Goes Through Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--FOX Charlotte's web team went to the Road 2 London media day at the Grady Cole Center. 

It was an opportunity to learn more about Charlotte's involvement with three major Olympic sports this spring. 

Charlotte will host the Modern Pentathlon World Cup and Olympic Qualifier in March, the Olympic Trials for Canoe Slalom in April and the Charlotte UltraSwim in May. 

Athletes from around the world will come to the Queen City for the competitions. 

The sporting events will serve as precursors and qualifiers for the 2012 Olympics.
