Woman Arrested for Fatal Stabbing in Cabarrus CountyCONCORD, N.C.--A woman has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in Cabarrus County. Deputies say 23-year-old Dakota Castner stabbed and killed 20-year-old Kadi Paden during an argument Monday night. Police were called to Untz Road after a neighbor saw the two women fighting. They found Paden in the backyard of her house. Investigators say she was stabbed in the neck and died shortly after deputies arrived on the scene. Castner was found hiding in the woods behind Untz Road several hours later. She has been charged with murder and is in jail with no bond. |
