CHARLOTTE, N.C.--The Flying Biscuit Café plans to donate all profits for the month of February to The Danielle Watson Memorial Fund and The American Cancer Society. 

The Danielle Watson Memorial Fund and the American Cancer Society were chosen upon the request of the Watson family.

The Flying Biscuit Café will host a fundraiser/memorial event on Saturday, February 18 with live music and $8 all-you-can-eat pancakes. 

Several of the StoneCrest area businesses will give 10% of their profits from event to The Danielle Watson Memorial Fund.

Plans are also underway for a permanent memorial outside the StoneCrest location.

“We continue to mourn the tragic loss of Danielle,” said Flying Biscuit owner Hugh Bigham. “Danielle was a wonderful employee and terrific person and we miss her very much. We hope to create a lasting legacy in Danielle’s honor in the community.”
