Norovirus Rapidly Spreading in Mecklenburg County Nursing HomesCHARLOTTE, N.C.--The Mecklenburg County Health Department says Norovirus is rapidly spreading around area nursing homes. It also hit hundreds of passengers on two separate cruise ships while out at sea. The state Department of Health and Human Services says symptoms of the illness include vomiting and diarrhea. The best way to protect yourself from getting the illness is to wash your hands frequently.
