Police Investigating Fatal Accident in South CharlotteCHARLOTTE, N.C.--A man was killed in a wreck in south Charlotte Thursday afternoon. Police say a woman was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Simsbury Road at Fairview Road when Wolfgang Kretzschmar ran into the back of her vehicle. Kretzschmar's vehicle continued to travel through the intersection and ran into a tree. Kretzschmar was pronounced deceased on the scene. The woman was not injured. |
