Godless Billboard Will Soon Have Some "Under God" Competition
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - There's an update on that controversial billboard in Southwest Charlotte that leaves out the words "Under God." A group called "We Still Pray" is putting up it's own version. The North Carolina Secular Association sponsored the "godless" billboard along Billy Graham Parkway. There are six others across the state. The folks at "We Still Pray" are putting up billboards that say "One Nation, Under God." We contacted the group to find out if we'll see one in Charlotte, but we didn't get a response. A spokesperson for the North Carolina Secular Association says they're glad the billboard is sparking a dialogue.
