LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies and agents with the U S Marshal’s Office arrested 17 of the 38 suspects in the roundup of street level drug dealers in Operation 38 Special. 

Officers arrested the following suspects:

Stewart Lacy Earle-One count each of Sell and Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance   and Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance.  Both charges are felonies.  He was jailed under a $10,000 secured bond

Larry Dale Penley-Trafficking Heroin, Possession of Controlled Substance Schedule IV, and Sell and Deliver a Controlled Substance Schedule IV.   $20,000 secured bond.

Donald Christopher Bracey-2 felony counts of Sell and Deliver Cocaine, 2 felony counts of possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Cocaine and one count of Maintaining a Vehicular Dwelling for a Controlled Substance.  Bond set at $10,000 secured.

Rita Ann Powell-One felony count each of Possess with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substance and Sell and Deliver a Schedule III Controlled Substance.  Bond set at $10,000 secured.

Lewis Dean Shaw- felony Trafficking in Opium by Sale, Trafficking by Possession and Trafficking by Delivery.  Felony Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Schedule Iv Controlled Substance and Sell and Deliver a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.  Bond was set at $40,000 secured.

Mary Cody Stamey-Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Morphine, Sale and Deliver Morphine, and Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance.  Bond is $10,000 secured.

Danny Lee Walker-Trafficking Heroin.  Bond set at $20,000 secured.

Clayton James Waynick- Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Heroin and Sell and Deliver Heroin.   Bond was set at $15,000 secured.

Bobby Wayne Langley-Trafficking in Opium by Possession, and Obtaining Controlled Substance by Fraud or Forgery.  Bond was set $20,000 secured.

Susan Tench Fitzgerald-possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Sell and Deliver Marijuana.  Bond is set at $20,000 secured.

Elizabeth Lynn Meadows-Possession of Heroin and Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for a Controlled Substance. She is under a $15,000 secured bond.

Joshua Jezreel Duncan-Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Alprazolam, Sale and Deliver Alprazolam, Trafficking in Opium by Sale, Possession and Delivery, Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Sell and Deliver Marijuana.  He is in jail under a $50,000 secured bond. 

Adam Lee Braddy-Trafficking in Opium by Sale, Trafficking in Opium by Possession and Trafficking in Opium by Transport.  He is also charged with Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Oxycodone and Sale and Deliver Oxycodone.  He is under a $40,000 secured bond.

James Brownell Bradstreet-felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance.  He is under a $10,000 secured bond.

Jackie Johnson Haynes-felony Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance.  She is jailed under a $20,000 secured bond.

Jonathan Logan Whitesides-felony Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for a Controlled Substance, Sell and Deliver Marijuana, and Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver a Schedule VI Controlled Substance.  He was placed under a $9,999 secured bond.

Luther Bolton Vassey-Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Heroin, and Sell and Deliver Heroin. He was placed under a $30,000 secured bond.

Teams of Sheriff’s deputies fanned out across Lincoln County looking for more of the 38 suspects charged with drug violations.
