Kids Can Ring in the New Year at Uptown Event

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Wilson was moving all over Uptown Charlotte today finding out about everything that will be happening on December 31st for First Night Kids in Uptown Charlotte.  He really enjoyed his job this morning when he got into his own "kid zone" showing off his talents with a little balancing act, hula hooping and paddle ball.

This year's festivities for the kids begins at 12 noon with  events and performances at NASCAR Hall of Fame, Outdoor terrace of the Charlotte Convention Center, The Green, Bechtler Museum, Mint Museum, and the main stage at Levine Avenue of the Arts.  At 5pm there will be a New Year's countdown.
